We need your help...

We are looking to expand our services and provide another way to enjoy the mountains and beyond. Nick and Michael are both camper owners and lovers of the mountains. During our time off in the mountains, we like nothing better than the freedom of driving off for a trip in the van. The mountains are geared up for it with campsites and municipal services that make it so simple and comfortable.

So we think more people should be able to have this experience. We believe that combination of Nick's mechanical and carpentry experience and Michael's years in the tourism industry will lead to the success of Traverse Campers. We are very excited to start our project and pass on our passion for vans to the world! 

Our concept is simple. We will tailor a selection of vans to create a fleet of comfortable and easy to use camper vans. They will not be motorhomes but smaller VW style vehicles that will sleep 2 to 4 people. We will then rent these throughout the summer months. Our pre-existing partnerships with the likes of Thule will mean that we will be able to provide plenty of accessories such as bike carriers and roof racks so you can bring your toys along with you.

Our meeting point will be near Geneva so we are accessible by train, plane and automobile for people to start their adventure. What better way to relax then to wake up under Mont Blanc or see the sunset over Lake Annecy, plus for all the activities that the mountains offer! The key with this type of holiday, flexibility.

We would then like to create the Traverse Camper Club where by we run point to point weeks such as a Geneva to Genoa week, or a Monaco to Montpellier week. This will be a value added part of our service that standard rental companies just do not do.  

So where do you come in? 

We are looking for donations, similar to a KickStarter type project to help us fund the purchase and conversion of our vans. With these funds, we will be able to dedicate the winter to making something very special. In return for your support, we would like to offer you the chance to come out and have the experience yourself, we know that you will love it!

Our target is to raise £10,000 for each van so the more that we can get the more varied options we can have from a simple 2 berther to 4 berthers with pop up roofs.
